SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Varsity Lady Packer Volleyball team wrapped up their regular season on Saturday playing in the Sparta Volleyball Invitational. The Pack went undefeated in pool player, defeating host Sparta, Holland and Martin. The Pack lost to Kent City in two well fought sets, 19-25, 20-25 during bracket play.
Offensively for the Pack, Sage Vandenberg led with 29 kills while Kendall Barnhart added 14 with Taylor Waite chipping in an additional 12 kills. Carle Bruggema put up 39 assists while Lily VandenBerg set up 21 assist. Service leaders included Marcy Tanner with 8 Aces and Bruggema with 7.
Defensively, the Pack had 108 digs; Baylah Parker had 34, while Barnhart added 26. Waite was the team's block leader with 7.
The Pack prepare for district play when they host Tri County on November 3 at 5:30 pm. Go Pack!
