The Varsity Lady Packers traveled to Hopkins for their annual Swiatek volleyball tournament. The Packers played well during two rounds of pool play defeating Gobles, host school Hopkins, and Paw Paw and lost to Bridgman, earning the number 2 seed in the gold bracket. They defeated Allegan in the first round of bracket play and lost in the semi finals to Hopkins. Overall, they went 4 -2 and it was a great day of volleyball for the Packers.
Offensively, the Pack was led in service Aces by Marcy Tanner with 14 followed by Carle Bruggema with 10. Sage Vandenberg had 38 kills while Kendall Barnhart added another 30 kills. Bruggema had 95 assists during the tournament.
Defensively, the Pack dig leaders were Baylah Parker with 61 and Bruggema with 46. Vandenberg led the team in blocks with 8.
The Pack travel to Ludington for a conference matchup. Go Pack!
