The Varsity Lady Packers traveled to Cadillac for a 15 team volleyball invitational. The Pack battled with Midland winning 2 - 1, losing to host school Cadillac for pool play. The Packers entered the Gold Bracket and faced a well seasoned West Catholic team, losing 18 - 25 and 21 - 25.
Offensive leaders for the Pack included Mia Clemence with 8 service aces, followed by Carle Bruggema and Kendall Barnhart each with 6 aces. Attack leaders included Barnhart with 15, Sage Vandenberg with 14 and Taylor Waite with 13. Bruggema chipped in 27 assist while Lily VandenBerg had 19.
Defensively, the Pack had 135 digs during the tournament. Dig leaders included Avery Christoffersen with 41, Barnhart with 20, and Marcy Tanner with 19. Vandenberg led with 5 blocks, while Waite had 3 and Clemence with 2.
The Packers next contest is a home quad on Thursday. Go Pack!
