MANISTEE HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Varsity Lady Packers hosted the Manistee Chippewas this evening. The Packers defeated the Chippewas in three straight sets with scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-11. It was a great night of volleyball for our home conference opener.
Offensive leaders include Carle Bruggema, Kendall Barnhart and Avery Christoffersen each with 6 service Aces. Sage Vandenberg led all attackers with 12 kills while Bruggema, Taylor Waite and Mia Clemence added 4 kills apiece. Bruggema chipped in 18 assists on the contest.
Defensively, the Pack had 34 digs; Christoffersen had 8 while Baylah Parker had 7. Vandenberg, Marcy Tanner and Liv Hansen each added a block.
The Pack improve to 1 - 1 in conference play. The return to the court on Thursday at Ravenna. Go Pack!
