MONTAGUE HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The Varsity Lady Packers traveled to Montague for their first league matchup of the season. The Pack battled the Wildcats and struggled to gain much traction, losing in three straight sets, 18-25, 22-25, 17-25.
Offensively, the Pack was led in service Aces by Carle Bruggema with 2 and Marcy Tanner, Syd Moon, Lily Vandenberg and Baylah Parker each with 1 Ace. Bruggema chipped in 17 assists. Attack leaders included Tanner with 6 kills, Mia Clemence and Kendall Barnhart each with 5 kills.
Defensively, the Pack had 37 digs led by Parker and Kenzie Gugins each with 7. Sage Vandenberg had 4 blocks while Taylor Waite and Mia Clemence each had 2.
The Pack look to their next match up at Ludington on Thursday. Go Pack!
