The Lady Packers opened conference play with a convincing performance over the host Big Rapids Cardinals. Fremont opened the match in convincing fashion with strong serving from junior setter Carle Bruggema who ended the match with six aces, 11 service points and 15 assists. After falling behind in the second set 0-8, the Packers charged back to take the set 25-21. The third set was never in question as the FPV'ers closed out the match 25-15. The Packers are 1-0 in conference and 10-10 over-all. Alexis LaCount led the Packers offensively with 7 kills, 7 aces and 13 service points. Kennedy Christoffersen solidified the Packer defense with 12 digs. Next up for the host Pack...The Green Hornets from Central Montcalm on Tuesday the 15th.
