The Fremont girls' soccer team traveled to Ravenna to play the last West Michigan Conference soccer match of the spring season. Both teams struggled to capitalize on opportunities in the first half and the lack of scoring resulted in a 0-0 halftime score. Ravenna's Taryn Marsman got her team on the scoreboard 7 minutes into the second half on a shot from 25 yards out. It took 20 minutes but Fremont finally finished a ball to knot the score at 1-1. Maddie Mater sent a ball to Mia Clemence for the tally. With 44 seconds left in the match a set play was awarded to the Packers from 35 yards out. Clemence didn't miss the opportunity. The final was 2-1. Fremont outshot Ravenna 17-7. Ravenna's Monroe Wilde made 15 saves in the loss while Fremont's Hallie Snyder ended with 6 saves. Fremont improved to 13-4-1 overall, 8-2 in the conference, and ended in 2nd place in the conference. Ravenna fell to 3-10-3 overall and 0-8-2 in the conference.
