MONTAGUE HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Montague Wildcats came to Fremont Monday afternoon for a West Michigan conference match-up. Fremont got on the board first with a goal from Maddie Mater and assist by Bethany Geeting. That goal stood until half as the Packers had the 1-0 halftime lead. Montague's Anastacia Trevino answered just 1 minute into the second half knotting the score at 1-1. Mia Clemence broke the tie for good on a ball from Anna Norris with 28 minutes to play in the game. Clemence added another tally from Norris just 10 minutes later. The final score was Fremont 3 and Montague 1. Fremont outshot the Wildcats 16-8. Hallie Snyder made 7 saves for the Packers while Addison Pranger made 13 saves for the Wildcats. Fremont improved to 11-4-1 overall and 6-2 in the conference while Montague fell to 8-5 overall and 7-2 in the conference.
