The Fremont girls' soccer team traveled to Tri-County on Friday evening for a non-conference matchup.  Tri-County jumped on the visitors with 3 goals in the first 10 minutes of play.  Fremont fought its way back with two goals from Riley Chase before Tri-County scored again.  Chase scored again before half making it 4-3 in favor of Tri-County.  In the second half the Vikings again got out to a quick start with 3 more goals in the first 10 minutes of the half.  Once again Fremont fought back with a goal from Mia Clemence and 2 more from Riley Chase.  Fremont was down 7-6 and had multiple opportunites but simply could knot the game up.  Tri-County added one more goal with less than a minute to play making the final score 8-6.  Fremont's Kate Mellema made 1 save in the first half while Hallie Snyder made 5 saves in the second half for the Packers.  Fremont dropped to 4-3-1 overall and Tri-County improved to 2-1.
