The Manistee girls' soccer team paid a visit to Fremont Thursday afternoon for a West Michigan Conference matchup. Fremont scored early and often putting the home team up 3-0 at the half. The scoring continued in the second half with Fremont adding 4 more goals. The final was Fremont 7 and Manistee 0. Fremont outshot Manistee 14-6. Mia Clemence had 3 goals, Riley Chase added 2 of her own, Maddie Mater tallied one and so did Bethany Geeting. Chase also had 2 assists and Clemence had 2 of her own. Kate Mellema made 6 saves in net for the Packers while Manistee's Piper Eskridge made 6 of her own. Fremont improved to 4-2-1 and 1-1 in the conference while Manistee feel to 4-1 and 1-1 in the conference.
