The Fremont girls' soccer team season got underway Wednesday evening with a non-conference match at Comstock Park.  The game was loop-sided in favor of the home team.  Comstock Park scored first only 15 minutes into the match on a penalty kick by Maddy Bravata.  Bravata added a second goal with 6 minutes to play in the first half giving Comstock Park a 2-0 lead over the Packers at the break.  Fremont came out swining in the second half as Mia Clemence scored 7 minutes into the half off of a set play tightening up the game.  Comstock Park's Lilly Zypera finished the scoring with 7 minutes to play.  Comstock Park won the match 3-1 but outshot the Packers 12-2.  Kate Mellema made 6 saves for the Packer and Hallie Snyder made an additional 3 saves.  Allie Fish made one save for Comstock Park.  Park moves to 1-0 overall and the Packers fall to 0-1.
