The Packers of Fremont made the trip up to Big Rapids for a CSAA matchup on Wednesday evening. The Cardinals Kyra Couch scored the first goal of the match putting the home team up 1-0. Fremont's Mia Clemence answered with a goal 10 minutes later knotting the score. The halftime score was 1-1. From that point on, Big Rapids dominated and scored 8 goals in the second half making the final 9-1. Julia Waltz and Katie Williams both had 2 second half goals while Rebecca Allers, Meredith Heethius, Ella Tucci, and Couch all added single goals in the second half. Big Rapids outshot Fremont 16-4. Fremont's Macey Powers made 7 saves in net for the Packers and Emma Balahoski made 3 saves in net for the Cardinals. Fremont falls to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference while Big Rapids improves to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
