Newaygo made the trip to Fremont on Monday afternoon for a CSAA conference match. Goal scoring opportunities were few and far between with Newaygo outshooting Fremont 4-3. Newaygo's Connelly Hefferan Nordlund netted the games only goal 17 minutes into the match. Barb Toth made 3 saves for the Lions while Fremont's Macey Powers made 3 saves. Newaygo improves to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference. Fremont falls to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in the conference.
