LAKEVIEW HS-LAKEVIEW: 1
The Packers went on the road Monday afternoon to take on the Wildcats of Lakeview in the final regular season match of the season. Fremont scored first with just 2 minutes remaining in the first half when Trinity Freriks finished a ball from Bethany Geeting. The score at half was 1-0. Lakeview responded just 4 minutes in the second half tying the game at 1-1. After many opportunities Fremont finally began to find the back of the net. Lyllian Craig had a hat trick and Freriks added another goal. Alaina Wachter, Addie Shields, Grace Jones, and Craig also added assists. The final score was 5-1 in favor of the visiting team. Macey Powers made 9 saves in net for the Packers. Fremont outshot Lakeview 20-10 overall. Fremont moved to 4-10-2 while Lakeview fell to 2-11.
