The Packers traveled to Kent City Monday afternoon to take on the Eagle in a conference match up.  The Packers scored first off an Alaina Wachter goal 18 minutes into the match.  Kent City answered 7 minutes later off a corner to knot things up at 1-1.  With 8 minutes left in the half Kent City took the lead - again off a corner.  Fremont managed to tie the match with 6 minutes left in the first half when Trinity Freriks buried a bouncing ball off a corner.  The score was 2-2 at the half.  The Packers played better defense in the second half while Alaina Wachter finished two penalty kicks to put the visitors up for good 4-2.  Kent City outshot Fremont 20-15.  Packer keepers Macey Powers ended with 10 saves and Saga Peres ended with 8.  (They each took a half.)  Kent City falls to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference while the Packers improved to 2-5 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
