The Ravenna Bulldogs traveled to take on the Packers of Fremont on Monday for the first match of the regular season for both teams. Ravenna scored early and often and led 7-1 at the half. Hope Huika and Kaylyn Eden both scored a pair of goals while Brynn Kantola, Isabelle Emery, and Emma Wilcox added single tallies for Ravenna. Fremont's Alaina Wachter netted two of her own and Lyllian Craig also chipped in a goal for the Packers. Fremont was outshot 21-10. Sidney Marsman made 7 saves in net for the Bulldogs while Macey Powers made 5 saves and Saga Peres made 9 for the Packers. The final score was 7-3 in favor of Ravenna who moves to 1-0 overall while the Packers fall to 0-1.
