The Cardinals of Big Rapids traveled to Fremont to play the Packers in a nonconference soccer match on Monday afternoon. Fremont won the match 3-1. The Packers started out quickly with 3 goals in the first half. Chaz Miller, Degan Klimek, and Tee Ward all netted goals. Miller and Klimek also handed out assists. Mason Richards scored the Cardinals only goal with 20 minutes to play in the second half. The Packers outshot the Cardinals 18-2. Big Rapids keeper Nicholas Pischel made 15 saves in net while Fremont's Caleb Vissia made one save. Fremont improves to 5-0 while Big Rapids falls to 1-6,
