Oakridge and Fremont played a West Michigan conference match at Fremont on Wednesday evening. Oakridge outplayed and outshot the home team 17-6. Arturo Romero was virtually unstoppable as he netted 3 goals in the first half and 3 more in the second. The score was 3-0 at the half and 6-1 was the final. Fremont's Gonzalo Garcia made the Packers only goal on an assist by Justin Guanga. Fremont keeper Caleb Vissia made 5 saves in net in the first half and Ben Mellema made 6 in the second. Oakridge keeper Isaac Barber made 5 saves for the Eagles. Fremont dropped to 2-4-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference while Oakridge improved to 7-1-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
