Fremont traveled to Cedar Springs on Monday evening for a nonconference match up with the Red Hawks. The Packers were truly never in the match as they were dominated by Cedar Springs 8-0. Hudson Pant scored 4 goals for the home team, while Conner Hunt, Logan Johnson, Gavin Mactarish, and Muris Gafurovie all added single goals. Cedar outshot Fremont 25-2. Ben Mellema made 12 saves in net for Fremont and Caleb Vissia made an additional 5 saves. Ian Klenk made 2 saves for the Red Hawks. Fremont falls to 1-1 overall and Cedar Springs moves to 2-1 overall.
