Muskegon Orchard View traveled to Fremont to take on the Packers in the district final Saturday afternoon. The Packers got on the board first on a Riccardo Lapertosa shot from 25 yards out. Devante Glover answered 20 minutes later to knot the match at 1-1. It was 1-1 at the half. Glover again found the back of the net with 28 minutes to play making it 2-1 in favor of the Cardinals. Glover's goal held up as the final ended 2-1. Orchard View outshot the Packers 11-7. Joe Kortge ended with 9 saves for Fremont and Dakota Palenear made 6 saves for OV. Fremont ended the season 15-4-4 and the Cardinals improve to 15-4-2. Orchard View will take on Ludington on Wednesday in the first round of the regional tournament in Clare.
