The Packers of Fremont traveled to play the Orioles of Ludington Tuesday night in a non-conference match up. Ludington got out to a quick start scoring on a shot from John Biggs. The Packers recovered and 11 minutes later when Kasiday Wright set a set play to the foot of Carter Moon who knotted the match at 1-1. Just 2 minutes later David Wachter sent a corner to Lane Converse who finished the game-winning shot. The play was largely controlled by the Orioles in the second half but the Packers managed to hang on for the 2-1 win. Ludington outshot Fremont 10-5. Joe Kortge made 9 saves in net for Fremont while Kyle Wendt made 3 saves in net for Ludington. The Packers improved to 3-2 while the Orioles fell to 1-7-2.
