The Packers of Fremont traveled to Fruitport on Friday night to take on the undefeated Trojans. The match was tight throughout the first half with the scored being tied 0-0 at the break. Fruitport took the lead on a corner kick goal with 20 minutes left to play. Zakary Wessels sent a ball to Ethan Selle's head to take the 1-0 lead. Fruitport finished their final goal with a minute left on a goal from Bryce Lanore. Fruitport outshot the Packers 12-5. Justin Lans made 5 saves for Fruitport while Joe Kortge made 10 saves for Fremont. Fruitport improved to 3-0 while Fremont dropped to 1-2.
