-WMC Invitational - 9-10-24

What a temperature change in a few days.  Under warm sunny skies the boys ran a controlled race with a strong finish to win the meet with 50 points to Whitehalls 70.  The boys kept a group of 5-6 together through the 2K mark then gradually accelerated to race pace at 3k working on a strong final 2K finish.  We were proud of how the boys stayed focused and stuck to the plan despite being a ways back early.  Our top 7 finishers were Carter Sherman (Sr) 5th, Cole Lowery (Sr) 8th, Blake Taylor (Sr) 9th, Issac Romero (Jr) 15th, Chase Lowery (Jr) 17th, Mossen Green (So) 30th, Andy Krapp (So) 37th.

The girl's had a solid day placing 4^th with 94 points.  The girls also ran a controlled first half in groups of two or three and then moved up.  Kira Manchip (So), Ava Krohn (Jr), and Alayna Bukala (So) all recorded Prs at todays meet.  Our top 7 finishers were Linnea Paige (Jr) 4th, Joelle Patten (Jr) 16th, Kira Manchip 18th, Rachel Maddox (Sr) 19th, Rocquel Richards (Jr) 39th, Jailyn Saum (So) 48th, Ava Krohn (Jr) 52nd.
