Warm and Windy

This was a preview of the Regional Championship course for us.  We will be back next week Friday to Chip Hills to run regionals.  The team results are misleading on Anet as we are listed in 2^nd place.  Fremont won the meet as a whole and also the blue division.  Our points reflect our blue division score and is ranked behind White Clouds red division score of 31.

The boys did a good job of keeping all 8 together for the first ¾ of a mile.  The group was about in 40^th place.  At that point they gradually started working on moving up.  I was really happy with the way the boys executed the plan, with most having a strong last mile.  All 8 of our runners in the Varsity race earned a medal.

Rounding out the team Chase Lowery (Fr) and Gave Jones (So) placed 1^st and 2^nd in the JV race.

The girls placed 6^th in the blue division.  As is becoming their style this group ran a strong 2^nd half of the race with most moving up several places in the second half.  Three freshmen led the way for the Pack.  Linnea Paige-6^th, Ariana Tanner-22^nd, and Joelle Patten-28^th.  4 of our girls earned a medal in the Varsity race.
