Nice running conditions

The boys squeeze out another close win beating Whitehall by 2 points, 46-48.

  We ran ok as a team and were helped by the return to action of some injured runners who should continue to improve.  The win was a total team effort but there were a couple of key moves that helped us seal the victory.  Henrik Quist (Sr) caught and passed Whitehalls #3 runner with 600 meters to go making a 2 point swing in the score, while Issac Romero (Fr) passed Whitehalls #4 to add another point to their score.

The Girls had another solid day as a team, with most of the team running close to or beating their time on this course from Saturday.  Linnea Paige (Fr) led the way for the girls in 2^nd.  She grabbed the lead in the 2^nd mile and made a big push, but was reeled in in the last mile and Summer Brower of Ludington made a big move in the last 800 for the victory.  Rachel Maddox (So) and Elise Pfeiffer (Jr) really moved up through the middle part of the race to record season records.   The girls placed 4^th with 96 points.
