Fremont JV Girls prevailed in tonight's battle against a very scrappy Big Rapids team.  Trailing after the 1st quarter 8-3. The JV Packers went into the 2nd quarter with a boost of Energy from Olivia Hansen who finished with 9 points and 5 Rebounds to out score the Cardinals 12-0 in the 2nd. Heading into half time up 15-8. Next, the 3rd quarter started and both teams continued to battle. Going in to the 4th up by 5. We knew whatever team wins the 4th quarter, wins the game. It was a battle to the end with Khaila Noordyk (7 points,  8 rebounds) getting a shot off with 2.1 seconds and getting fouled. Heading to the line to shoot 2. Noordyk sinks the first one putting the Packers up by 1. Second shot goes up and missing to the left with great boxout by Taylor Waite the ball goes off Big Rapids to give the ball back to Fremont. Ending with Victoria Ekkel passing it in to Katie Ackerman. JV Girls will head to Cedar Springs on Tuesday game time start is 5:30. Fremont Girls JV moves to 2-1 (1-0)
