NEWAYGO HIGH SCHOOL: 17
Fremont JV Girls took on an undefeated Newaygo Loins team. It was all defense for the Pack as Coach Smith always says "defense wins games" and it sure showed tonight. Packers held the Loins to 6 points going into halftime. The first half of the game the Packers shots and layups couldn't find there way into the basket. Coming out after half the Packers finally found a way to score. Leading the way tonight for the Pack was Joise Visser with 12 Points and 8 Rebounds. Helping with the win also was Kylee Stoike with 6 points. Finally, when the Packers needed to score late in the 4th. Carle Bruggema and Addie Sheilds showed up in the final minutes to put the final baskets in.
Fremont JV moves to 4-5 on the seaon and will take on Tri-County Thursday at Tri-County. Game time 5:30
