In a defensive battle at Fremont on Tuesday night, the Packers defeated Montague 31-22. The score was tied 4-4 after the first quarter, Fremont led 11-5 at halftime, and the Packers were up 22-11 after three quarters. The Wildcats outscored the hosts 11-9 in the fourth quarter to set the final score. 

Emma Peterson led the Wildcats with 10 points and Ella King chipped in 6. The Packers were led by Riley Chase's 9 points, while Jessica Bennett had 6, and Mia Clemence had 5. Olivia Hansen had double-digit rebounds. The Packers are now 6-13 on the season and 3-6 in the WMC Lakes Division. The loss dropped Montague to 10-7 overall and 7-3 in the WMC Lakes.

Riley gave us a great spark off the bench tonight, playing with good energy, solid defense, and scoring 7 of her 9 points in the fourth quarter."
