Fremont hosted Manistee on Friday night and suffered a 54-50 defeat. Fremont led 13-5 after one quarter and 28-24 at halftime. The Chippewas tied up the game by the end of the third quarter 39-39. The fourth quarter was essentially a free throw contest, with both teams making four 2-point field goals in the quarter. However, Manistee went 7-15 in the quarter from the free throw line, while the Packers went 3-10. 

Manistee was led by Libby McCarthy's game-high 18 points, while Jayna Edmonson had 13, and Abby Robinson scored 11. Fremont was led by by Jessica Bennett's 16 points and 6 rebounds. Mia Clemence had 13 points and 5 rebounds, and Olivia Hansen had 9 points and 5 rebounds. Fremont falls to 4-8 overall, 2-4 in the WMC Lakes. Manistee is 6-6 overall, 3-3 in the WMC Lakes.
