The Packers began January with a win at home over the Vikings from Tri County 46-19. The Packers played solid defense throughout the first quarter and led 10-4 at the end of the quarter. The pressure defense continued to be effective in the second quarter, which resulted in some transition buckets on offense and the Packers led 30-9 at halftime. A 12-8 advantage for the Packers in the third quarter, followed by a 4-2 advantage in the fourth set the final score. 

Eight different players scored for Fremont. The balanced attack was led by Lily VandenBerg's 10 points. Riley Chase added 9 and Khaila Noordyk had 8. The defensive effort, along with a solid performance on the offensive glass, helped Fremont to get 59 shot attempts for the game.

The win improved Fremont's overall record to 2-6, 0-2 in the WMC Lakes Division. They travel to Orchard View on Thursday to take on the Cardinals.
