WHITEHALL HIGH SCHOOL: 30
The Packers jumped out to a 16-7 lead after the first quarter, and led 31-20 at the half. Then they really clamped down on defense, only allowing Whitehall to score 1 point in the third quarter. Fremont led 43-21 at the end of the third, and an 9-5 advantage for Whitehall in the 4th quarter set the final score at 48-30. Calla Miller paced Fremont with 18 points and 3 steals. Natalie Jamieson recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Kaitlynn Bennett added 6 rebounds, and nine Packers scored points on the evening. Karoline Glamzi led Whitehall with 8 points.
The win improves the Packers overall record to 10-4. They are 8-0 in conference play, and visit Big Rapids on Friday. The loss broke the Vikings' 5 game win streak, and brought their overall record to 8-7.
