The Packers were able to break into the win column with a 46-35 victory over the visiting Shelby Tigers. Leading scorers for Fremont were Calla Miller (13), Kaitlynn Bennett (9), and Chloe Shriver (8). Natalie Jamieson tallied 11 rebounds, while Shriver had 4 steals and 3 assists. Fremont led 16-9 after one quarter, 29-21 at the half, and by as many as 15 in the fourth quarter. The Packers begin league play on Friday when they travel to Reed City.
