The J.V. Packers earned a hard fought win against the visiting Ludington Orioles on Monday night. Fremont was up by 2 points at halftime and pulled away in the second half to win 51-41. Logan Nelson paced the Packers with 13 points, 6 steals and 3 assists. Jordan McDonald had a good all around game with 4 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Fremont once again had good bench play with Joey DeLong leading the way with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Michael Baden also had a good game with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. The victory improves the Packers record to 3-0(1-0) on the year. Fremont plays at Montague on Tuesday night.
