Coopersville 95  Fremont 53

Our district Championship didn't quite go the way we hoped.  We started the game by stealing the first pass, racing down the court to score, turned it over and they scored in transition and thats pretty much how the game went.  They scored non-stop off turnovers or in transition and we did not have an answer.  Coopersiville is very good, we had to play almost perfect to win and we did not.  I'm proud of our team though, fighting through a year when we rarely had a full team suit up, we were able to go 14-5, 12-2 and alwalys left the court knowing we had given our best.  The last game just didn't go our way with Coopersville ending our season the same as we ended theirs a year ago.  Our two 3-year varsity players led us, Braiden McDonald with 17 points and 7 rebounds, Joshua Zerfas with 14 points and 5 assists.  Paybon Mansfield had 6 points, Lane Converse had 5 points and Jordan McDonald had 4 points.
