Fremont 57  Central Montcalm 27

This game was called early at the 4:09 mark left in the 3rd quarter because of a bad injury to a Central Montcalm player.  Joshua Zerfas drove the length of the court and one of their players went up to block the shot, came down and had a compound fracture of his leg.  Because of emotions running high it was agreed upon by everyone involved that it was best to end the game.  We led 22-12 after the first quarter, 40-27 at halftime.  We came out with great energy after halftime outscoring Central Montcalm 17-0 in the third before the game was ended.  Braiden McDonald had 15 points, Jordan McDonald had 12 points, Martin Curiel had 11 points, Payton Mansfield had 9 points and Joshua Zerfas had a great all-around game with  8 points, 8 assists and 7 steals.  We are 13-4, 12-2.  If Big Rapids wins at Newaygo tonight they win the league outright, if Newaygo won we share the league title with Big Rapids.
