Fremont 67  Remus Chippewa Hills 20

We were able to earn an easy league win vs. Chippewa Hills at home 67-20.  Because of multiple quarantines and injuries, yesterday was the first time this year we have had a practice with everyone on the team.  Every week or so we have lost a key player and have had to adjust what we have done on defense and offense, some weeks with as many as 3 out.  It's exciting to see everyone together and hopefully with everyone now we can continue to build this week and go into districts strong.  Braiden McDonald was only 8 points shy of 1000 coming into the game and he waisted no time scoring our first 6 points and then got an and-1 only 3 minutes into the game to go over 1000 points.  He is the 8th Fremont Mens Basketball player to go over 1000 points.  Braiden had 13 points in the first quarter and 17 overall including a huge off the backboard alley oop pass dunk from Joshua Zerfas to start the 2nd.  Jordan McDonald had 10 points, Elijah Shears 8, Joey DeLong 7 as everyone scored on the team.  Joshua Zerfas led us at point with 7 assists, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.  We are 12-4, 11-2 and finish the regular season at home vs. Central Montcalm Friday.
