Big Rapids 39 Fremont 35
Both teams came in 9-1 in league but Big Rapids was able to leave with the close victory. The pace was definitely in Big Rapids favor the whole game. We were not able to make enough shots even though they were open. Last time against big rapids we shot 2-27 from behind the arc as they packed it into a tight 2-3 zone. Tonight we didn't fare much better shooting 4-20 from range. We were down 10 in the 4th but rallied to get within 2 points, but missed a few key shots that would have tied it or put us ahead. Braiden McDonald had 13 points. Joshua Zerfas had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Payton Mansfield had 6 points and Martin Curiel had 5 points. We are 10-4, 9-2 and play Friday at home vs. Big Rapids.
