We were able to get our 6th straight win up in Reed City in a game that appeared would be much closer. Reed City has played down to the wire with every team and came into the contest with a 3-2 league record including a win vs. Big Rapids, which is Big Rapids only loss. We jumped out to at 16-6 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 40-21 at halftime. We were very balanced in scoring with 8 players scoring in the first half. In the second half we built up a 27 point lead, 51-24 before Reed City scored a few buckets to make it 51-31 entering the 4th. We never let the lead get under 20 from there. Braiden McDonald led a balanced scoring attack with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan McDonald had 10 points and 7 rebounds. Joshua Zerfas had 7 points, 10 assists and 5 steals. Lane Converse had 9 points and 3 steals, Logan Nelson had 7 points and Chase Rasmussen had 5 points. We are 7-2, 6-1 and play at Grant on Monday.
