Fremont 66  Central Montcalm  53

We were able to win our third game in 4 days and 4th game in a row.  We got off to another slow start down 5-0 but regrouped and took a 20-7 lead after the first quarter.  We led 36-23 at halftime and 52-42 at the end of the third.  Central Montcalm got the lead down to 7 with about 4 minutes to go but Braiden McDonald threw down a monsterous dunk over defenders, (the best I have seen in 21 varsity years) and got the and-one putting us up 10.  We were able to keep that lead the rest of the way.  We had a balanced scoring attack with Braiden McDonald leading the way with 26 points.  Lane Converse had 12 points and 5 steals, Joshua Zerfas had 10 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and Jordan McDonald had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.  The win puts us in sole possession of first place at 4-1 league, 5-2 overall.  We play again tomorrow at Chippewa Hills, our 4th game in 5 days.
