FRUITPORT HIGH SCHOOL: 19
The Freshman Lady Packers defended their home court this afternoon defeating the visiting Trojans of Fruitport, 30 - 19. Leading scorers for the Pack include Taylor Waite with 11, Katie Ackerman and Kendall Barnhart each with 6, Madi Andres, Olivia Hansen and Elise Pfeiffer each with 2 points, and Victoria Ekkel with a free throw.
Defensively, the Lady Packers had 29 rebounds; Waite led the team with 9 followed by Ekkel, Hansen and Pfeiffer with 5 apiece, Ackerman 3, Barnhart 2, and Korianna Cook Hansen with a board. Barnhart also added 3 blocked shots. The team also had 15 steals; Ackerman led with 5 steals
Assist leaders were Ackerman and Barnhart each with 2.
The Pack improve to 6 - 5 and travel to Sparta for their last contest of the season.
