The Fremont girls' soccer team traveled to Big Rapids to take on the Cardinals in the CSAA semi-final match on Wednesday afternoon. Fremont got on the board first when Lili Isak found Mia Clemens for the goal. That was about it for the visitors as Big Rapids dominated from that point on. Julia Waltz had a hat trick, Rebecca Allers added two goals, and Kyra Couch, Katie Williams, Ella Tucci and Hailee Lotarshi all had single tallied. The final score was 9-1. Fremont's Macey Powers made 5 saves in net and Mia Foster also made 5 saves for the Packers. Big Rapids' keeper Geralynn McAdams made one save. Big Rapids improved to 12-5-2 overall and 8-0-1 in the conference. Fremont dropped to 10-7 overall and 6-4 in the conference. Big Rapids will play Newaygo on Friday for the CSAA title and Fremont will play Tri-County for the 3rd and 4th place match.
